VEC Team Member Accepted to BSA Board

A member of the VEC team will join a group of construction professionals across the country in developing standards for BIM that will be utilized both nationally and internationally.

Adam Davis, Virtual Systems Designer at VEC, was recently accepted to the Building Smart Alliance (BSA) Board of Direction. The board consists of representatives from various organizations within the construction community including architects, engineers, manufacturers and contractors.

The Alliance, which is credited with the establishment of a National CAD standard that is used throughout the industry, is tasked with developing standards for international BIM part development, work flow processes, layers, manufacturers specifications and information contained within developed parts.
