Energy Management Systems

The Evets Electric EMS division concentrates on the design, installation, and maintenance of energy management systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. These systems are capable of controlling and monitoring:

• Heating
• Ventilation
• Air conditioning equipment
• Interior and exterior lighting

Security and card access, fire alarm, electrical metering, and closed circuit television systems can typically be integrated into the EMS system to provide additional control of a building’s critical infrastructure. The end user interacts with the systems through a Windows based, graphics rich software program that provides real time monitoring and manipulation of a variety of control points. These points may include, but are not limited to:
• Individual temperatures and temperature set points
• Time of day control of interior and exterior lighting systems
• Enabling and disabling of HVAC equipment such as rooftop units, air handling units, boilers  and chillers

This enhanced control provided by the EMS system allows for the more efficient and effective use of energy resources, which translates into cost savings.
