
Quality Assurance
VEC takes a proactive approach to excellence with its Quality Assurance program. The goal of this program is to give our customers the peace of mind that our work will meet and exceed their expectations. We accomplish our objective by documenting key construction processes to ensure every detail is addressed, every need is met and every potential problem is thwarted through extensive tracking and dedication.
Our full-time Quality Assurance Department aids the entire company in maximizing efficiency. Some services the department provides include:
- Reviewing submittals to confirm that every product meets the specifications
- Preparing test plans and reports
- Ensuring documentation, including all closeout paperwork, is sent to the customer in a timely manner
- Scheduling training sessions for the customer
- Assisting the project manager in making sure all customer needs are met
- Communicating with vendors, the customer and the project manager
- Creating and maintaining Document Control processes for both electronic and paper files
- Archiving project documents for future reference
- Making all employees aware of new or changed processes
